Hi! Hello! It’s me!
I will be your main host here at Punktreks! Why me? Well, because I have the worst case of the Travel Bug out of anyone I’ve ever known, and this site was set up to talk about travel! My travels, specifically – of which there are plenty and on which I have dragged the unassuming into the mix.
I love travel because it is where you get to meet not only other travelers and locals, but also a whole new you! Sometimes in a good way and sometimes in a not-so-fun way. While I always endeavor to make travel fun, it is also raw and unfiltered before all of those pretty pictures get posted and this is the part I get the most out of. I can’t say that I always enjoy it, but I learn from it and in the end that is what drives me forward – to the next day, the next spot, the next experience and the next story!
I travel for work and for pleasure and for adventure and for education. I travel to visit friends and family, colleagues and strangers, buildings, rivers and lakes and oceans, rocks, trees and animals and even the stars! I travel to find myself in a crowd and all alone. I do not travel with the intent of doing everything or under the guise of checking things off a list. I travel with the intent of expanding my mind, my heart and those of others around me and around the world. I travel to inspire.
My life is one big adventure whether I spend it working, planning or exploring and for all of this I have my wonderful crew! Meet them here!
